Description

Become a Trucker
Scania is a world-famous manufacturer of large trucks and buses, and this is a 1/14 scale R/C model of the R470 Highline, a model in their 2005 International Truck of the Year-winning R-Series range. The model features a ladder frame chassis with resin cross members and aluminum side channels, plus suspension with metal leaf springs and friction dampers. The 3-speed assembly transmission allows gear changing via transmitter controls. The characteristic styling of the truck's body is reproduced down to the smallest detail. The cabin tilts forward just like the actual truck and the included grille mesh further enhances the realistic look of the model. Kit-included coupler enables linkage with any of Tamiya's currently available 1/14 scale trailers, and the R470 is compatible with a wide range of Tractor Truck Option Parts as well.

A vision in orange
The kit includes a range of body parts pre-painted in a vivid orange: the cab, roof, spoiler, side skirts, front fender and more. A clear top coat has been applied to the parts to ensure an excellent-quality finish. The kit requires assembly and painting of some parts in black for you to complete your very own eye-catching orange tractor truck.

Realistic Lights, Sounds, and Vibration
Install a Multi-Function Control Unit (included for Japanese market only) to add light, sound, and vibration operation to your R/C truck experience. Engine sounds are digitally recorded from an actual diesel unit, and change to reflect model speed. Together with air discharge, horn, gear shifting, and many other realistic sounds, it gives you the feeling that you are driving the real thing! Headlights, brake lights, fog lamp, hazard lights and turn signal operations are also at your fingertips.
